GERMANY: 'Is It Right?! - YES - Newcomer Elaiza won 'Unser Song für Dänemark'


Yesterday Germanys national final 'Unser Song für Dänemark' took place in Cologne in the Lanxess Arena. Eight finalists performed for the ticket to Copenhagen.


This was the lineup for 'Round 1':
(Qualified for Round 2 in bold)



  1. Das Gezeichnete Ich - Weil Du da bist
  2. Oceana - Thank You
  3. Santiano - The Fiddler On The Deck
  4. MarieMarie - Cotton Candy Hurricane
  5. The Baseballs - Mo Hotta Mo Betta
  6. Elaiza - Is It Right
  7. Unheilig - Als wär's das erste Mal
  8. Madeline Juno - Like Lovers Do


The first voting round started and we saw again Emmelie de Forest. She performed the Eurovision 2014 anthem 'Rainmaker'.

The four winner from 'Round 1' performed a second song.

Lineup for the 'Semi-Final':

  2. MarieMarie - Candy Jar
  3. Elaiza - Fight Against Myself
  4. Unheilig - Wir sind alle wie Eins
After those performances it was time to vote for the act and the song for the 'Final'. Next interval act was Adel Tawil.

The finalists performed again their songs for the 'Final' round.

Emma Marrone
Than it was time to vote for the winning act. Next interval act was Emma Marrone. She is this years representative for Italy with her song 'La mia città'.










The voting lines closed and it was time for Janin Reinhardt to bring the two finalists to the stage for the anouncement.


Barbara Schöneberger, host of the show, made the anouncement of the winner..
