Russia: Sergey Lazarev to Stockholm

Sergey Lazarev was chosen internally to represent his country this year at the 61st Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm in May. His Eurovision entry is not known yet. It's clear that he will perform his song in English.
"Dear friends! I am really happy and honored to represent my country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016! I am looking forward to this exciting experience and I hope you will all love my song as much as I do. Wish me luck! Thank you." wrote Sergey on his instagram about his participation. 
In 2005 started Sergey his solo career and released his first solo album "Don't Be Fake". One year later he recieved the "Best New Act"-award on Russian tv channel MUZ TV. In the following years he released some other solo albums and recieved awards as "Best Male Singler" and  MTV "Artist of the Year"

Sergey already wanted to represent Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "Flyer". He ended on 4th place, while Dima Bilan won with "Believe" and represent Russia in that year. Do you remember his entry?

Sergey Lazarev will perform in one of the Semi-Finals on 10th or 12th of May 2016 in Stockholm. Will he make it to the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016?
