Finland: Sandhja wins "UMK 2016" with "Sing It Away"

The Finish national final of "UMK 2016" took place yesterday in Helsinki with a line-up of nine competing contestants. Sandhja got the most votes from the jury and televotes for her song "Sing It Away" and won the competition. The show was hosted by Krista Siegfrids (ESC 2013, "Marry Me") and Roope Salminen.

Sandhja won with only six points more in the final votes before second placed Saara Aalto.

"KIITOS!! THANK YOU!! TACK, vi ses i Stockholm! Thank you so much, your votes counted! You made the dream come true!!" she wrote after her victory on Facebook.
