Iceland: Greta Salome - "Hear Them Calling" (Acoustic Version)

Greta Salome returns to Eurovision this year and will represent Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. Earlier this month recorded Greta a very special acoustic version of her Eurovision entry "Hear Them Calling".

Greta Salome - "Hear Them Calling" (Acoustic Version)

The acoustic version portrays the song in a very different light from the original and emphasizes the earthy and folky elements of the song. The song carries a strong message about our exposure to negative voices in today´s society. It´s about how we should focus on the positive things in our lifes and not get caught up in negativity. Greta Salóme arranged the acoustic version herself and it was produced by the Eurovision veteran Þorvaldur Bjarni Þorvaldsson. Video production was made by Silent.

Greta Salome is honored to reprsent Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. She will participate with "Hear Them Calling" on #16 in the first Semi-Finals on 10th May 2016 in Globen Arena in Stockholm.
