Sweden: Result "Melodifestivalen 2017" - Semi-Final 1

The first Semi-Final of Melodifestivalen 2017 in Gothenburg brought us yesterday the first two finalists and two more contestants for the second chance show  Andra Chansen. Seven contestants performed their possible Eurovision entry in Gothenburg, but only two of them got the ticket straight to the national final, which is scheduled for 11th of March 2017. The show was hosted by Clara Henry, David Lindgren and Hasse Andersson.

Qualified for the "Melodifestivalen" Final:
  1. Nano - "Hold On"
  2. Ace Wilder - "Wild Child"

Ticket for 'Andra Chansen' (Second Chance) on 4th of March: 
  1. Boris René - "Her Kiss"
  2. De Vet Du - "Road Trip"
The journey is over for Adrijana, Dinah Nah and Eurovision winner Charlotte Perrelli.

  • 04.03.2017 - Andra Chansen - Linköping
  • 11.03.2017 - Final - Stockholm

Frans won Melodifestivalen 2016 and represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. His song "If I Were Sorry" ended on 5th place in the Eurovision final.

The winner of "Melodifestivalen 2017" will participate in one of the semi-finals on 9th or 11th May 2017 in Kiev. Who will represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Ukraine?
